For clients who don’t know what to do with their hair this fall, share the top 5 hair trends for the season:
Hottest Hair Trend #1: Bold Single-Process Colors
What better way is there to bring out the rich colors of your fall wardrobe than with a single, bold hair color.
If the summer left your client’s hair a little faded this is a great time to warm up his/her look with a rich chestnut, all over mahogany, or a deep auburn color.
We recommend All-Nutrient’s 5R for showstopping reds and 6M for a rich brunette.
Hottest Hair Trend #2: Dip Dyed Hair
This look is similar to (some say it is replacing) this summer’s ombre’ craze.
For the ultra bold and daring client, dip dying is a great way to add color to the ends of hair or hair extensions.
Most common this season will be a dark single-process color all over with the ends bleached out. We have also seen celebrities like Lauren Conrad do pastels on the end with a lighter all-over color).
Hottest Hair Trend #3: Casual Chic
The classic Jennfier Aniston “I just rolled out of bed and look this fabulous” will be big this fall paired with the no-makeup makeup look.
The trick is to make you hair look piecey and a bit disheveled without making it look sloppy.
Work out some strands around your hair line from a low pony tail or don a messy low braid to obtain this casual chic look.
Hottest Hair Trend #4: The Sophisticated Pony Tail
Think Barbie circa 1950 as inspiration when creating the sophisticated pony tail.
This look can be obtained by creating volume towards the crown of the head and tighter towards the actual pony tail.
Hot rollers should be used to set the ends of the ponytail. Use a single strand of hair to loop around the elastic band to give it a truly posh look.
Hottest Hair Trend #5: Buns
Buns of every kind are essential for this fall – from the ultra slicked back styles to the messy buns that are perfect for a day of errands.
Bejeweled headbands and brooches are great to add a more elegant touch to your bun as holiday parties start to come around. Keeping a brooch or headband in your purse is a great way to dress up your ‘do to go from day to night.
Join us on November 7th for our Stars of Hair Event, where you will have a chance to meet Alan Papaleo, Nicholas French and the All-Nutrient artistic team. This is a great opportunity to learn new techniques and tricks from the pros!
